Budget Smart Marketing Ideas For Art Exhibitions (BA33)
To attract a crowd to an art exhibition on a budget, use a mix of strategic discounts and combo offers. Early bird, group, and family discounts can drive ticket sales, while student/senior rates and bring-a-friend deals make attendance affordable. Partnering with local businesses for combo offers and offering VIP add-ons can enhance the experience. A “pay what you can” day and social media promotions can expand reach cost-effectively. Our project aims to enhance safety and inclusivity for women by addressing the unique challenges they face when attending arts events. By improving safety protocols and increasing female representation in key roles, the city’s arts community will become a place where women feel valued, respected, and, most importantly, safe. This will increase participation, create a more vibrant arts scene, and give all community members a greater sense of belonging.

Art and AI are merging to create new forms of creativity. While AI offers innovative tools like generative art, it raises questions about capturing the human experience. Rather than replacing artists, AI enhances creativity and expands possibilities. The future is about collaboration, where humans and machines together redefine artistic expression.

With challenges like lack of funding and growing expenses as we recover from the pandemic, Edmonton's arts community is critical point. Through community engagement and the encouragement of varied artistic voices, our program seeks to establish Edmonton as a major cultural destination. We intend to introduce an online platform and an app that will allow users to experience art, performances, and exhibitions just as if they were physically present at the theatres and galleries. Adaptive Reuse of the former Royal Alberta Museum (RAM) (BA33)
The former Royal Alberta Museum (RAM) building in Glenora, Edmonton, is currently slated for demolition to pave the way for a new green space. This decision has ignited a considerable debate among community members and heritage advocates. The Edmonton Heritage Council has expressed strong reservations about the demolition, emphasizing the building's architectural and historical importance. They argue that preserving the RAM building is crucial for maintaining Edmonton's cultural identity and heritage.

Our team worked on project to aid the artists spread their arts to the audience through unique platform called Omni platform. It will make them connect and create the art with support of community. By leveraging through digital platforms and local events. We can see their individuals unique artistic expressions while building relationships that motivates and engage art enthusiasts in local area.
Online Platform for Promoting and Protecting Indigenous Arts (BA33)
Promoting and protecting Indigenous art requires global collaboration and innovative strategies. Canada provides grants and events but struggles with funding consistency and global exposure, while France excels in international promotion, and India and Egypt focus on preservation but face visibility challenges. A key solution is establishing a Digital Indigenous Arts Hub—a global platform to showcase art, provide sustainable funding, strengthen global partnerships, and offer resources to protect against cultural appropriation. By combining this with robust legal frameworks, we can preserve heritage and elevate Indigenous art on the world stage.

Arts in Mental health connects patients, artists, and healthcare professionals to enhance healing beyond traditional treatments. By integrating therapies like music, pottery for addiction recovery, and drawing for military personnel dealing with Post Traumatic Stress disorder(PTSD). Art therapy is an alternative to medications. This approach emphasizes the essential role of art in managing stress, anxiety, and the challenging health conditions like cancer and dementia as well.
Represent Arts from India (BA34)
We are thrilled to share the details of an upcoming arts event in Edmonton that will honor and present the rich and varied history of Indian art. This gathering seeks to give local residents and Indian artists a lively stage on which to gather and showcase their artistic creations to a wider audience. This festival will include both classic and modern Indian cultural traditions, ranging from traditional forms like classical dance, music, and painting to contemporary art.
